Beyond Therapy

Bruce wants to meet women, so at the suggestion of his loopy therapist Charlotte, he places a personal ad in the paper. Prudence, herself undergoing therapy with the macho bully Stuart, answers the ad, and the two meet in a restaurant. The date does not go well; Prudence discovers Bruce lives together with his male lover, Bob. Despite the initial difficulties (and much to Bob’s annoyance), Prudence and Bruce continue seeing each other but find that their relationship might not succeed without a great deal of therapy…

Christopher Durang's absurd comedy is presented by the Anglo-Irish Theater Group Tübingen and will take place at the BrechtBau Theater (Wilhelmstr. 50, Tübingen) every night at 8 p.m. from April, 22nd to April, 26th.
