After messing with some solo guitar-vocals for a few years and sharing stages with Morphine and the Dresden Dolls, Pennsylvanian Nathan Symes looked to the other side of the Atlantic.
No need to look long in Strasbourg (France) to find some solid musicians who would follow him to the darkest of his territories.

Chapel Hill shapes songs between indie rock, dried out folk and shameless country in which America isn’t always the good guy. But these are only a natural base, an ideal background on which Nathan -whose strong voice can go so far as to evoke Johnny Cash, Nick Cave or Jim Morrison- puts down with conviction his original compositions and inner universe, solemn and tormented at times, and always impeccably served by his excellent musicians.

Chapel Hill has also shared stages with bands like Canned Heat, Toy Dolls, Reverent Horton Heat, Joseph Arthur, Two Gallants, Moriarty, Apocalyptica, Ezekiel, The Real McKenzies, Pigalle, and Woven Hand.
