This documentary feature examines the role of the bottled water industry in the US, its effects on one’s health and the environmental pollution it causes while using the term “Nachhaltigkeit” as a leitmotif.

Tapped trails the path of the bottled water industry and takes a look at communities, which were negatively affected by it.

It is a thought-provoking portrait of lives influenced by the industry and poses the question if access to clean drinking water is a basic human right, or a commodity that should be bought and sold like any other article of commerce.
