The American poet Sarah Arvio will read from published and unpublished works. Hailed by The New Yorker and The Washington Post for wit, insight and brilliant wordplay, her works are also known for their uncanny ability to move readers to tears and laughter.

She has translated novels, stories, and poems and worked for many years as a translator for the United Nations in New York and Switzerland. Her latest work, as yet untitled, is an exploration on dreams in poetry and prose and looks into the relationship between emotion and language.

Today Sarah Arvio teaches Creative Writing at Princeton University, NJ.
